Once upon a time, many of us were part of the Prune Juice Follies, a group of over-fifty, but young-at-heart, entertainers. When its founder retired, we wanted to keep entertaining and formed The Tucson Prunes-Take 2. Since then, the Tucson Prunes have continued to grow and added its own singing group, The Prooners.

The Tucson Prunes and Prooners are all over fifty and most will never see sixty again. Although we come from diverse backgrounds, our common bond is entertaining others. We blend singing and dancing with a little comedy to create a unique and memorable show that leaves audiences wanting more.

To date, over 4,000 have enjoyed our shows. We have entertained young and old alike at reunions, conventions, fund raisers, anniversaries, birthday parties, corporate functions, and retirement communities. We’ve also done shows with Western, Holiday or other themes for special occasions.

Beth Floress
Tap—Jazz—Ballet

Beth began dancing in 1986, studying ballet, tap, jazz and modern dance with a number of renowned dancers and choreographers. She furthered her training under scholarship at the University of Arizona and Ballet Magnificat. Beth has performed with companies including Dance Southwest, Ballet Arizona, and Arizona Opera Company. Teaching for several local studios since 1999, she has also worked as a guest artist with the Tucson Girls Chorus, Faith Community Academy, and Calvary Chapel Christian School. Beth currently teaches at Gotta Dance Dance Academy and is the choreographer for The Tucson Prunes - Take 2.
